What made you decide to study in Finland?
I was looking for a different country to study in, apart from UK in Europe, so I looked at the Nordic countries and I found out that Finland offer an attractive study structure and the country was nice to live in. So I went to Finland!
Why did you choose to study that course at Alto University?
Electrical Engineering is my field of study, and based on my reading, Aalto University provide flexible structure that suited my interest.
What did your family and friends think of your decision to study abroad?
My family and friends were supporting my decision.
What were the main differences you found between studying in your home country and studying in Finland?
Language and style of teaching and learning. In Finland, students are encouraged to give their opinions and discuss about others opinion too. That's what I learned the most!
How did you adapt to living in a different country?
I set my goals of living abroad and try to adopt myself to the local culture as soon as possible.
What did you enjoy most about your experience?
The most enjoyable thing that I experience was the mentality of the Finnish people. A lot to learn from them.
What advice would you give students thinking about studying in Europe?
Go for it. Challenge yourself.
